Here is my opinion on Ultra Premium Direct for dogs: healthy products designed for our animals that you can receive thanks to a monthly subscription.
Ultra Premium Direct offers a food range for dogs and cats: kibbles, treats, pâtés, food supplements. We received some grain-free products to test with Weasley, our one-year-old border collie.
Subscription
It is possible to subscribe to never run out of food for your pet. The brand delivers everywhere in France and in a flexible and customizable way, according to your needs and habits. The subscription includes kibble, but also pasta and other food supplements.
Grain-free sensitive dog and puppy kibble
First of all, we received a packet of kibble suitable for our dog, the breed and age of which we had entered. Ultra Premium Direct kibbles are designed to respect as much as possible the ancestral carnivorous diet of our four-pasta friends, which is why they are made without cereals or with a low cereal content (mainly rice). The kibbles, rich in proteins, ensure good muscle development, a shiny coat and healthy skin. So we tested with Weasley, a one-year-old Border Collie and approved 100%. The croquettes are devoured quickly. These contain lamb and pork, salmon oil, apple and other vitamin supplements including plants which are perfectly suited to our animal.
Grain-free pâtés
To complement the croquettes, we received a selection of lamb pâtés. These are 400 gram boxes allowing a less dry meal, replacing a kibble meal. As with the kibbles, they are made without grains to respect the ancestral carnivorous diet of our furballs. This pasta is made up of 35% lamb, but also pork and is decorated with carrots, zucchini and apples. There are some food additives such as vitamins essential for their good health.
Toppers
We discovered a product that we didn't know at all: toppers. These are food supplements to mix with the kibble to make it more palatable. Grain-free shreds always with chicken, carrots or salmon and peas: perfect for dogs who want more gourmet meals.
Salmon oil
We discovered salmon oil which we already knew and used for our animals. The oil is a food supplement that is suitable for both cats and dogs and provides them with everything they need to be in great shape. The oil is rich in omega 3, it is essential for the beauty of the coat and the health of the dog or cat. It contributes to the balance of its intestinal flora, is perfect during intense physical periods since the oil is an excellent source of energy. In terms of dosage, you need 1/2 spoon per 10 kilos approximately, which means that the product lasts a long time with its 500ml capacity! His plus? Added to food, it increases its palatability and allows the animal to finish its portion if it is not very greedy.
Educational treats
We received some training treats, perfect for Weasley. These are soft bites for puppies and adult dogs, also grain-free. They are rich in chicken and low in calories: ideal for training the dog or for a little daily pleasure. Personally, these little bites are used for learning new tricks with Weasley and for work, he really likes them and allows us to learn the basics with our dog.
Sensitive dog treats
To finish we received a bag of lamb and rice treats. Perfect for dogs of any size, these small bone shaped treats are crunchy and specially designed for sensitive dogs. A little daily pleasure for our animals rich in omega 3.
What do I think of it
I have to say that the experience with Ultra Premium Direct was absolutely fantastic. From customizable subscriptions to nutritious products, this brand clearly listens to the needs of pets and their owners. Every product we've tested has been a hit with Weasley, our one-year-old border collie, which, to me, is the best validation possible.
What particularly struck me was the attention to detail. Whether it is the protein-rich grain-free croquettes or the succulent pâtés, each ingredient seems to have been carefully chosen to ensure a balanced and natural diet. Toppers and salmon oil add that gourmet touch that makes all the difference, especially for pickier animals.
